U.S. market-entry assessment

Decide whether a U.S. launch deserves your next investment.

What the work addresses

For an international manufacturer, a large potential market is only the starting point. A useful assessment connects a specific buyer problem with a product that can be supplied, supported, and sold on workable terms. Riddy Group helps structure that decision before a national launch or a large inventory commitment.

Start with one commercial question

Which U.S. customer has a strong enough reason to change from the product or process they use today? We narrow the first segment by application, purchasing role, operating environment, and the evidence needed to support a decision. A broad industry label is refined into a buyer profile that can guide actual conversations.

Separate evidence from assumptions

The review considers current product documentation, existing market experience, U.S. activity, competing alternatives, channel economics, and the manufacturer's ability to support a local launch. Each important assumption should have an owner and a way to test it. Unknown requirements remain open questions until the appropriate specialist confirms them.

Define an actionable recommendation

An assessment should end with a reasoned choice: pursue a defined buyer-validation step, resolve a readiness gap, or pause the opportunity. The scope can include a competitor comparison, buyer-role map, preliminary route to market, and an evidence register. Deliverables and responsibilities are agreed before work begins.

Do we need a U.S. subsidiary before an assessment?

An initial commercial assessment can identify the questions that would inform an operating structure. Entity, tax, import, and contractual decisions require qualified advisers and depend on the proposed activities. The assessment does not assume a particular structure.

Scope the engagement

The product, evidence available, manufacturer support, and buyer process determine the appropriate scope. An introductory discussion does not establish a partnership or commit either party to a launch. Responsibilities, deliverables, commercial terms, and any specialist work are agreed separately.
